This last week we attended ECS's sports banquet. The volleyball team was awarded a special Volleyball Resolution from the Florida State Senate. Florida Senator Burt Saunders read the resolution and presented it to Coach Tom Baxter and the girls on the team. What a surprise! It was fun to cap the year with this special honor.
Dawn's junior/senior prom was Saturday night. What we want to know is how did our little girl become this gorgeous young woman? She looked amazing! Pardon us again if we brag!!
The last 4 weeks have been full of planning for this one night. Deb has been working for weeks on the dress. Dawn wanted peacock feathers and she got them! She wore her great-grandmother's necklace, found the perfect shoes, had her hair and nails done and it all came together perfectly. (Can you tell this is our first prom too?)
Her date was her boyfriend, Kyle Hopmann. He looked handsome as well. They had a great time dancing the night away.
Like we said, is this our little girl??!

Dawn is a beautiful young lady, but I'm not sure I approve of a boyfriend. Has he passed all the "tests" yet?
