Normally my bird feeder just fattens the local black grackles and doves, but today a male (seen above) and a female painted bunting helped themselves to breakfast, lunch, snacks and supper on Monday. They were joined by a female cardinal occasionally. It was so cool to see the “happy couple”. What a beautiful creature! So many colors in one little body. God packed a lot into that one bird!
